Our Mission
The Idaho Music Teachers Association (IMTA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1957 and affiliated with the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Our membership includes approximately 140 music educators from across Idaho, consisting primarily of independent and collegiate instrumental and vocal studio teachers. For nearly seven decades, IMTA has served as a professional community dedicated to supporting excellence in music teaching and learning throughout the state.
